Business Travel News (BTN) is on the short list for the CWT Business Travel Journalism Awards (BTJAs) 2021, now seemingly open to publications from all over the world including the United States and Europe. BTN is a previous winner.
Sadly the awards will be announced in virtual form on Tuesday 23 November and not at a splendid social dinner in a prestigious London hotel as in the past.
Malcolm Ginsberg, owner and Editor-in-Chief of BTN, is pragmatic. “This is the second time in a few weeks we have been nominated for a travel award, the recent APL party, a wonderful evening but no winning announcement for Business Travel News.
“BTN is clearly recognised as a leading independent voice in the travel industry since it started out as ABTN in the last century. SOAPBOX feature highlights the leaders of the industry. AND FINALLY is light relief.
“It’s great to be on the short list but I don’t hold my breath. Now that the competition has opened up to the global travel writing world and we can only do our best with the resources available.”
