Travel Media Awards*

Business Travel News (BTN) is on the short list to receive the trade publication Trade Media Award for 2021.

The awards continue to recognise the hugely influential role the travel media industry plays in the holiday and travel decision-making process in what has been the most difficult year since the whole business was created by Thomas Cook in 1841.

Malcolm Ginsberg, Editor-in-Chief, says that even getting onto the short list is a wonderful accolade.  “It has been a very stressful year.  BTN has been supported by some fine industry writers, all experts in their particular aspect of travel.  And also some leading lights around the world keen to use BTN as a mouthpiece for their often strident views.  The timing of this announcement is impeccable, at a time that the Government has at last listened to what the industry is saying.”
