David Needleman’s latest airline start-up, Breeze Airways, has revealed its new A220-300 livery, and confirmed its total order book for the former Bombardier C series now stands at 80.The aircraft’s fresh paint job was completed at the Airbus facility in Mobile, Alabama, which will deliver approximately one A220 per month to Breeze over the next six-and-a-half years. The airline plans to begin flights with the Airbus fleet in the second quarter of 2022.
Breeze made its maiden flight from Tampa, Florida, to Charleston, South Carolina, 27 May 2021, its route network concentrating on what is termed “the deep south”. It currently only operates Embraer 190 aircraft.
