The Londoner

Much anticipated, The Londoner hotel, Leicester Square, has finally opened.
This was first covered by Business Travel News in February 2020.

The £300m property has been another victim of the pandemic regarding construction and fitting out.  It sits next to the Radisson Blu Edwardian Hampshire, also owned by one of the UK’s largest family-owned hotel groups.

Leicester Square is considered the entertainment centre of London. With 350 guest rooms spread across 16 storeys and a subterranean series of spaces, the introduction of the new hotel is a pivotal moment in the return and re-birth of hospitality on a global scale.

The Londoner features a range of rooms, suites, penthouses, two private screening rooms, an exclusive 24hr residents’ space, an entire floor dedicated to wellness, expansive ballroom, private art gallery, wealth of meeting places, and a mix of several concept eateries. This includes a Mediterranean restaurant, Whitcomb’s, plus a contemporary Japanese lounge bar with a rooftop terrace and fire pit named 8, and with neighbourhood bar, Joshua’s Tavern.
