Whilst still on the highly controversial British Amber list Denmark has reopened to fully vaccinated British tourists. The requirement for a pre-departure Covid-19 test or the need to quarantine on arrival in Denmark has been withdrawn with the only stipulation being a Covid-19 vaccination more than 14 days prior to arrival. Also on the approved entry list are permanent residents of the United States.
BTN always recommends checking the UK government website at the top of this page.
This is what Denmark has to say regarding admission criteria. “People whose permanent residence is in the EU and Schengen countries as well as Andorra, San Marino, Monaco or the Vatican City, an OECD country or a yellow third country and who have been vaccinated with an EMA-approved vaccine” in those countries.
The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has 37 members, including the US and UK.
