London Classic Car Show

Diminutive TV presenter Richard Hammond is revving up to reveal his latest business venture to the public at The London Classic Car Show, 25–27 June, at Syon Park, west London under the Heathrow flight path.

Fuelled by his passion for old iconic vehicles from yesteryear, as well as his desire to support the skilled crafts that created them, Hammond is launching a new classic car restoration business.

Hammond himself will be at the show on Saturday 26 June when he will also join another former Top Gear presenter, Tiff Needell, for what promises to be a memorable interview in the Talks Theatre during the afternoon.

##Based close to Hammond’s home in Herefordshire, the new business is called ‘The Smallest Cog’ – a reference to the intricate detail required in the process of restoration rather than pint-sized Hammond’s own stature.

To illustrate its talents on offer, The Smallest Cog will be exhibiting three – before, during and after – vehicles on its first public appearance at The London Classic Car Show. A tatty Ford Escort RS2000 project car that Hammond has just purchased at auction, a British sportscar that is mid-renovation and Richard’s own gorgeous Jaguar XK150 that the team has already restored beautifully. Rumour has it that there may be an additional special surprise on display, too!

Admission costs £25 when purchased in advance.  Capacity is limited and any remaining tickets will be available for £30 on the gate.

See in this week's BTN AND FINALLY by the same organsing team.
