It’s touch and go at Southend

A bargain for private pilots.

Southend Airport has extended its £5 for five circuits offer to general aviation pilots.

To help pilots develop and retain their competence, or just put in the training required for a Private Pilot Licence, Southend Airport is extending its offer of five or more circuits for just £5 until the end of June 2021. With slots available from morning to evening, there are opportunities for training in a variety of conditions.

Prior approval is required via Southend ATC and bookings can only be made a maximum of 24 hours in advance.

There are two flying clubs based at the airport, Southend Flying Club and Seawings, members only.

In airline slang it’s called “Touch and Go”.

There is only one catch.  You need an aircraft!
