Not exactly best known for its client relationship Ryanair has launched what it calls its “Customer Advisory Panel”.
Any Ryanair traveller can apply. Cut-off date is 31 May.
Successful applicants will be flown to the airline's Dublin office and participate in a Customer Care event to help Ryanair improve its service. Panel applicants can look forward to future Customer Advisory Panel meetings at major European cities such as Madrid, Rome, Berlin, Warsaw.
Flights and hotel accommodation for panel members (and a partner) will be covered by Ryanair and participants will have the opportunity to explore Dublin City on their two-night trip.
The Editor-in-Chief is thinking of applying, but believes it is unlikely that he will be selected. Whether Ryanair Chief Executive Michael O’Leary gets involved we have not been told.

"...I was initially selected to be on his 'We Care' panel... But when I took him up on his 'Fly To Dublin' and 'Hotel Offer',my initial choice of hotel suite at the historical 'Shelbourne' Dublin and my dithering of what size 'Gulfstream' we wanted for the flight as some would you believe haven't got a 'Vintage Champagne Rack' didn't go down to well! Unusually and just before he uncharacteristically slammed the phone down he proceeded to tell me where to go,and it wasn't Dublin I can tell you!!"...

I can't see it happening either. But you never know!

O’Leary attend. As much chance as the Glazier’s going on the pitch for after the Europa League final! And I don’t think the editor will be selected!
