Following the announcement of Hotel Week London 28 May–6 June (see BTN 19 April) another 10 of the capital’s leading properties have joined the initiative.

After a year described in an understatement as “not very good” central London has an air of recovery, a short walk by BTN’s editor-in-chief last week in the Covent Garden/Soho area seeing many more streets pedestrianised and the growth of pop-up dining, with coverings ready for the inevitable rain.  Still quiet but a continental feel which augers well for the coming months.
