Following the announcement of Hotel Week London 28 May–6 June (see BTN 19 April) another 10 of the capital’s leading properties have joined the initiative.
Each one is outstanding in its own way and we list them here in alphabetical order.
Baglioni Hotel London
CitizenM Tower of London
COMO Metropolitan London
Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park
Meliá London Kensington
The Langham London
The Mayfair Townhouse
Each of the above hotels are offering room discounts of up to 25% off their best available rates, coupled with exciting value-added packages including afternoon tea, guaranteed room upgrades, bottles of Champagne on arrival, third night free offers and complimentary private chauffeured Maserati or Mercedes drop-offs in London.
After a year described in an understatement as “not very good” central London has an air of recovery, a short walk by BTN’s editor-in-chief last week in the Covent Garden/Soho area seeing many more streets pedestrianised and the growth of pop-up dining, with coverings ready for the inevitable rain. Still quiet but a continental feel which augers well for the coming months.
