The Dilly – 5-star London hotel

Due to open when the restrictions are lifted on 17 May is a classic hotel with a new name.

‘The Dilly’ is the former Le Méridien Piccadilly, a transformation of the independent property, in the 1930s a centre stage for high-class social life in London.  It witnessed the comings and goings of London’s great and good.

The Oak Room will initially feature Madhu’s Mayfair, a fine dining Indian restaurant featuring Punjabi cuisine with a Kenyan twist. The new Health Club features one of London’s largest indoor luxury pools. As soon as the law allows the hotel’s meeting and function rooms – designed in the style of Louis XIV with epoque chandeliers and detailed oak panelling – will again play host to weddings, dinner dances and private events when the laws permit.

The re-design of the 255 bedrooms and 28 suites is ongoing, although 39 will be completed in time for the planned opening.

Many of the bedrooms and suites have views over either Regent Street or Piccadilly and the roof tops of London’s West End.
