A STATEMENT by Business Travel News

Business Travel News (BTN) has evolved as an online weekly from Air & Business Travel News (ABTN), a print publication published by the BTN's editor-in-chief in the 1980s, assuming its present independent identity about 15 years ago. 

We are being told by readers that another not dissimilar title is being used by a New York company from its London offices.  We must make it quite clear that this other publication is nothing to do with Business Travel News Ltd.  We note that the newsletter’s UK Manager worked closely with BTN in the days before the very surprising creation of that journal. No discussion took place.  “Passing off” is not a term we are using!

BTN has a unique heritage and is a MUST for many on a Monday morning.

THis new upstart is a copycat and is clearly 'passing itself off'. Needs a cease and desist letter. They should ammend the name and apologise
