Low level airline

2Excel Aviation, a fully-fledged air operator and a member of Airlines UK, has been performing some very low-level flights.

G-OSRA and G-OSRB (seen here) are among the last 727s to come off the Boeing production line and were originally built as freighters for FedEx.

Established since 2005, and now backed by Signal Capital Partners, it is better known for its executive charter operations and search and rescue work.  It is also involved with offshore oil dispersant activities and is developing a system called TERSUS, designed, built, installed, tested and certified in-house.

A specially modified UK-registered 2Excel Aviation Boeing 727 has recently carried out a series of tests at RAF Valley in Anglesey.  This involved 12 passes at a height of 150ft.  The pilot was a former leader of the Red Arrows!
