The Aviation Club of the United Kingdom is pushing ahead with its speakers’ programme for this year, although for the time being not at its splendid home, the Royal Automobile Club in Pall Mall, but via Zoom. Jonathan Hinkles is live Thursday 17 February.
Hinkles, has been CEO of Loganair since 2016. It is Britain’s longest established airline, dating back to 1962. Jonathan promises some “interesting” announcements. With headquarters at Glasgow Airport, it operates a fleet of 43 aircraft, from a pair of BN Islanders used on Scottish island routes, to 17 Embraer ERJ regional jets.
Sir Stephen Hillier, the former head of the Royal Air Force and chairman of the CAA since May 2020, will be addressing members and the industry on Thursday 11 March.
On Thursday 29 April guest of honour is easyJet boss Johan Lundgren who joined the Luton Airport-based airline in 2017 from holiday company TUI.
