Wizz Air insures

Currently the only airline operating out of Luton Airport, but with a limited number of destinations, Wizz Air has upgraded its insurance offering.

Wizz Air says it will offer passengers Covid-19 insurance coverage as part of its travel protection package in partnership with insurance provider Chubb.  This includes related cancellations and medical related expenses when travelling abroad.  It also covers trip abandonment cancellation due to the pandemic.

Wizz Air’s Travel Insurance also covers lost, stolen or damaged baggage as well as missed departure.

In addition to travel insurance, Wizz Air offers standalone cancellation cover in certain countries. Both cancellation cover and travel insurance can be purchased either during the flight booking process on Wizz Air’s website or app – and are applicable for both one-way and return tickets.
