AND FINALLY: Petition to Government

BTN’s editorial assistant Sharon Ross has three young children at home due to the schools being closed.

She has put forward three suggestions for a petition to Government.

  1. Penalty notices can be served by parents on their children if they do not put their plates in the dishwasher or any other reasonable task.
  2. All parents to receive one designated quiet hour where they are not allowed to be disturbed otherwise parents can serve their child a penalty notice.
  3. Internet and related companies to provide a free priority phoneline which children can phone to sort out their own inevitable IT problems.

And finally, finally

Taxes to be reduced on alcohol.  This is a question of trust (like self-isolation) with the drink only to be partaken after the kids are in bed.
