Aspire lounges re-open

The Birmingham North Aspire lounge will reopen next Thursday (10 December). 

This follows Gatwick North and Heathrow T5 South.  Manchester Terminal 1 is also open but with the region being in a Tier 3 restriction area bookings are only being accepted for individuals, and for groups where the members are from the same household or support bubble.  

In most locations the lounges open at 05:00 and close early evening and details are on the individual website.  However at Birmingham on a Thursday you can visit from 04:30.

Next week Business Travel News plans to publish a list of Aspire lounges available over the holiday period and their opening times.

According to the regulations no alcohol is to be served unless accompanied by a ‘substantial’ meal.  Aspire has adopted a number of safety measures such as contactless check-in (where possible), full table service, enhanced cleaning regimes (including the application of an electro-static microbe shield on all surfaces) and the withdrawal of newspapers and magazines. To more than compensate, Aspire is now working with PressReader to give free access via the lounge's courtesy wi-fi for customers to read newspapers and magazines from over 120 countries in 60 languages, 18 of which can be instantly translated.
