Hot food on LNER

Passengers on the LNER East Coast main line between London Kings Cross and Scotland are now being offered hot meals with the return of a seat service.

Travellers in First Class receive a complimentary breakfast offer from a menu that includes bacon rolls, Quorn sausage muffins and Danish pastries. These will be served until 10:00. Customers travelling after then will be able to enjoy a choice of sandwiches, crisps, biscuits and snacks and a hot or cold drink until 22:00.

Hot sandwiches and meal deals have been reintroduced in Standard Class and are available from the Cafe Bar in addition to the snacks and beverages already on sale.  

LNER services remain alcohol free.
