Singapore “No First Class”

The facility to book First Class has been withdrawn by Singapore Airlines (SQ) until the end of November.

After that date it is not very clear if it is to return, but many airlines have dropped First or retained it for priority routes only.

What happens to the actual First Class SQ seats has not been confirmed, but it is likely that a priority will be given to regular users of that cabin, who will be experiencing a new reduced Business Class service.

Aircraft affected include the A380, flown typically from Singapore to Heathrow, New York JFK, Hong Kong plus Sydney and Auckland.  Boeing 777 services affected are Amsterdam and Frankfurt in Europe, Beijing and Shanghai in China, Hong Kong and both the Tokyo airports.

The Star Alliance member has removed Brussels from the schedule.
