Wednesday 15 July should see the LeedsBradford Airport holiday airline getting back into the air in its latest revision of flight plans. The airline has been reticent in publishing details of the schedules. To make matters worse it is likely that many of the flights would have been confirmed months in advance for holidaymakers, leaving little room for would-be travellers already booked and wanting to fly during the holiday period.
Jet2 says it is proactively contacting all affected customers in departure date order.
At present it lists its departure airports as: Belfast International, Birmingham, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Manchester, Newcastle and Stansted.
Jet2.com is the UK's third largest airline flying to over 60 destinations across Europe and beyond. It has an all-Boeing fleet of 91 aircraft and last year carried 14m passengers with a 91% load factor.
