An extension of some new summer 2020 routes into winter and more seats on existing routes including many to and from the Highlands and Islands and on services to Hanover and Belfast are part of Loganair’s winter 2020 schedule released last week.
Highlights include continuation of one-stop Manchester – Stornoway (via Inverness) weekend service on Sundays for winter and an increase of available seats on Shetland – Edinburgh Saturday and Sunday routes following the ATR72 introduction.
Also continuing the summer schedule, Cornwall Airport Newquay will be served in the winter from Glasgow on Thursdays and Sundays and from Newcastle on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays using Embraer jets.
Loganair chief commercial officer Kay Ryan said: “We’re pleased to announce these winter service enhancements on many of our existing routes, some using our newly-acquired ATR aircraft and others using our Embraer regional jet fleet.
“We continually look for ways to improve our schedules, which is an essential part of listening to our customers and developing our services to meet their needs. We are aware our customers often like to make winter and festive season travel arrangements well in advance, hence the early on-sale date.”
