Oman greets Royal Tulip Muscat

A new 5-star property in Oman, the Royal Tulip Muscat Hotel (below), has opened under the auspices of the Al Kalbani Group. Managed by the Louvre Hotels Group, it boasts a modern design and convenient location in the Al Ghubrah neighbourhood.

With 260 luxury rooms and suites, the hotel is 15min from Muscat International Airport and a few minutes from the business area as well as the Oman Venues mall and Al Ghubrah beach.

The hotel’s food and beverage portfolio includes Wave, an all-day restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner; the à la carte rooftop Sama Lounge, and the Ristretto Café in the lobby lounge offering fresh pastries and drinks.

Other features include a rooftop swimming pool with scenic panoramic views of Al Ghubrah and Muscat, the Urban fitness centre and Jacuzzi, sauna and steam rooms. A spa facility will be in the second quarter of 2020.

General manager Kay Wolfel said: “The Royal Tulip will contribute to the growing hospitality sector in Oman, catering to business travellers, families and individuals seeking a special hospitality experience set in the heart of Muscat."

Royal Tulip is the luxury brand within the Louvre Hotels Group, a subsidiary of Jin Jiang International Holdings. Louvre’s portfolio now includes more than 1,500 hotels in 54 countries.
