World Aviation Festival takes shape

Forward planning has begun for the 2020 World Aviation Festival taking place from 23–25 September at ExCeL, London. Organised by Terrapinn, the event is claimed to be the No 1 world gathering of its kind.

As a taste of what is to come, the festival has released the latest in its Distribution Leaders interview series with exclusive contributions from senior figures from the airline industry and associated fields.

Available to download via the Terrapinn website, the new report features American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Norwegian, Hawaiian Airlines and the Lufthansa Group, as well as the Airline Tariff Publishing Company (ATPCO).

The interviewees will also be attending September’s festival, expected to attract up to 6,000 other senior leaders from the world of aviation representing the most forward-thinking airlines, airports and travel technology companies.

Among those so far listed are Joanna Geraghty (JetBlue), Carsten Spohr (Lufthansa Group), Shai Weiss (Virgin Atlantic), Karen Chan (AirAsia), Johan Lundgren (easyJet) and Pieter Elbers (KLM), plus Alexandre de Juniac from IATA.

With 15 different conferences, the agenda covers everything from artificial intelligence, retailing, loyalty and digital technology to airport tech, passenger experience and much more from every part of the aviation and travel ecosystem.
