Two more for Wyndham Mid East

The current focus on new hotel development in the Middle East is continuing with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts accelerating its own regional expansion with the opening of two properties in Muscat.

Marking the introduction of the Wyndham Garden and Ramada Encore by Wyndham brands to Oman, the company said the arrivals further support Oman’s Vision 2040 programme, which includes developing the mid-market hotel sector in a bid to welcome 11m visitors  by 2040.

Wyndham regional development vice-president Panos Loupasis, said: “The anticipated openings of these two new hotels in Muscat marks a significant milestone as we seek to expand our presence in this important market.

“We want to bring diverse accommodation choices to travellers across the sultanate, and support Oman in its ambitions. These newest additions to the Wyndham Wyndham family are perfect to complement our growing offering in the region.”

Located on Sultan Qaboos Street, 20min from Muscat International Airport, the Wyndham Garden Muscat Al Khuwair is set across eight floors and brings 143 new rooms and suites to the city.

Ramada Encore by Wyndham Muscat Al Ghubra is expected to open in March 2020 in the heart of Muscat, next to the Al Ghubra roundabout on Sultan Qaboos Street, just minutes from three of the city’s major shopping malls.
