Communication focus for Air League reception

The inaugural Christmas reception of the Air League's Media, Marketing & Communications Network is taking place on 18 December at No 4 Whitehall Court in London, overlooking the Thames and Victoria Embankment.

The network was set up to establish a better sense of collaboration between journalists, commentators, industry analysts and publishers, plus communications, marketing, public affairs and corporate social responsibility (CSR) professionals.

Air League chief executive Nick West said: “There are very rarely opportunities these days to bring together all these important communities in the aviation and aerospace industries.

“There has always been a large degree of overlap between aviation and aerospace and from speaking to people about the network, we decided to expand its scope and aim to include more disciplines within communications and reputation management.”

West said the move also reflected the large number of changes in the publishing and business information landscape in recent years.

As well as an opportunity for social gathering, meetings would have an eye to developing future talent through addresses by inspiring speakers, enabling younger professionals to hear new perspectives and grow their networks, he added.

The Air League’s existing as well as new corporate members and partners are welcome to attend the reception, which will be from 18:00 – 21:00.
