Airport car hire link-up

The process of hiring a car has been made easier to hotel guests at Heathrow after Hertz joined forces with the airport Hilton to open its latest branch in the property’s car park.

Hertz UK country manager Richard Davies said: “Opening a car rental location just a 6min walk from the terminal makes Hertz the closest car rental company for customers flying in and out of Terminal 4.”

Hotel general manager Jurgen Sutherland added: “We are always looking at ways to improve the customer experience and the fact guests can now organise their car hire ahead of a stay or after they return to Heathrow highlights our commitment to service.”

Hertz will have 35 spaces for its vehicles, and the move is also good news for business visitors at the hotel, which has a range of conference and events facilities, who may need a vehicle for onward travel.
