Low fares for Heathrow Express

A new low-price regime has been brought in by the Heathrow Express service between London Paddington station and the airport, with a £5.50 ticket now available every day of the week.

The new structure coincides with the launch of a multi-lingual website and app, with a guaranteed number of discounted tickets now being released for every day of travel for advanced online purchase.

The company, which froze prices last year, says It means increased availability of discounted tickets beyond weekends and offers a permanent children-travel-free initiative.

The cheapest weekday travel previously available was £12.50 when booked 90 days in advance, rising to £16.50 for bookings up to 14 days before travel.

Now, customers booking in advance will see fares available for £5.50, £7.50, £10, £12.50, £15 or £16.50, depending on availability.

Heathrow Express can easily be reached from Paddington’s  Metropolitan and Hammersmith Line platforms by turning right out of the station and in less than 15yd turning right again and following the signs.

It is probably nearer than from the Bakerloo Underground and Circle/District Line station, which means crossing the busy main Paddington Station concourse.
