Visitors to Surinder Arora’s top floor office at the World Business Centre Heathrow North are always impressed with the 180deg view of runway 09L/27R. But it is no longer the finest lookout in the airline industry!
It is now second-rate compared with the 360deg panorama at the (Arora Group) Hilton Garden Inn T2. The public can use it too!
Last week, TV personality Eamonn Holmes unveiled a plaque to signify the official opening of the property, the Arora Group’s sixth hotel in the Heathrow area.
The 14-floor enterprise has 369 guestrooms, including 23 family rooms and 10 suites offering an adjoining seating area with a sofa bed and 55in HDTV plus five meeting rooms. Besides the top floor Runway Bar there is also a breakfast and evening dining restaurant and a casual eatery on the second floor until midnight. Guests can also find drinks, sandwiches, snacks or a sweet treat (or two) to satisfy those cravings any time, day or night, from The Shop in reception.
There is a small gym as well but if you are in T3 it is a fair walk. The hotel is part of the T2 car park with very easy access but Hilton/Heathrow need to improve the signage.
It is very much an upscale 3-star property and is already gaining 90%+ occupancy.
