Mitzi Gaskins: Redefining luxury in Shanghai.
JW Marriott vice-president and global brand leader Mitzi Gaskins said: “This hotel is set to redefine luxury hospitality in Shanghai, with forward-thinking design inspired by the surrounding neighbourhood, the city’s history and its unique culture.”
Guestroom features include Simmons mattresses, 55in Samsung flat-screen TVs, surround sound systems and Nespresso coffee machines, while the Executive Lounge provides space to unwind with fresh juices for breakfast and signature cocktails in the evenings.
Twelve multi-functional rooms and banquet venues offer 34,445sq ft of meeting space with the Junior Marquis and Grand Marquis ballrooms providing space for up to 800 guests.
Two meeting rooms are separated by a live culinary theatre with bespoke glass walls adjustable from opaque to transparent on demand, making live cooking shows or cooking classes a unique selling point.
