Hampton by Hilton opens in Toulouse

A second property in France for the Hampton by Hilton brand has opened with the arrival of the Hampton by Hilton Toulouse Airport, conveniently located near the passenger terminal.

The brand is one of 17 under the Hilton umbrella and the new 126-room location joins Hampton by Hilton Paris Clichy, which opened earlier this year, as the first flag-wavers in France.

The Toulouse property is just 600m from the airport terminal and 20min from the city centre by the surface metro. It also offers a free shuttle to the terminal and surrounding businesses, making it a perfect base for passengers travelling through Toulouse.

Hilton executive vice-president and president EMEA Simon Vincent said: "The Toulouse Airport property is a welcome addition to our growing portfolio in France, where we plan to almost double our number of hotels in the next three to five years."

Global head for the brand Shruti Gandhi Buckley added: "The property provides a modern design, quality amenities and unmatched service for which Hampton is known worldwide."

The hotel offers the choice of Queen and Queen Family rooms, all with HDTV, free wi-fi, tea- and coffee-making facilities, plus free hot breakfast. There is also a business centre, fitness centre and natural-light boardroom.
