Developments in two top business cities with a newly-redeveloped property in Prague and completion of a major renovation project in Stockholm kept Radisson Blu properties in the spotlight last week.
The Radisson Blu Hotel, Prague has 160 guestrooms and suites designed to complement the building’s classical Art Nouveau architecture. With business travellers in mind, it has access to congress venues plus museums, theatres and restaurants.
Area senior vice-president for central and southern Europe Yilmaz Yildirimlar said: “We’re excited to open this historic hotel in a prime location. It is our first leased property in southeast Europe and represents our confidence in the market.
“We see the property as the perfect business hub and a superb venue for the conferences, meetings and events sector, complementing our Park Inn Hotel Prague.”
In Stockholm, the Radisson Blu Royal Viking Hotel has reopened following its multi-million-pound refurbishment, one of several across the Nordics as Radisson finalises its most extensive renovation and investment programme yet in the region.
Ready for its 35th anniversary, the hotel is next to Stockholm Central Station. It offers 459 guestrooms and suites with minibars and free high-speed wi-fi, plus 15 meeting rooms with capacity for up to 150 and an atrium for up to 450.
