Hosted by Israel Airports Authority (IAA), the ACI Europe Security Summit will bring together senior airport security experts, agencies and senior administrators in Tel Aviv to address the current security issues facing the aviation industry. The event takes place at the Dan Hotel Tel Aviv 17-19 September.
Presentations are being invited from a selection of top airport security experts and leading security technology companies.
Speakers are expected to include Alexis Long, chief of innovation for USA Transportation Security Administration (TSA), and David Pekoske TSA administrator.
The Security Committee of the 120-member ACI Europe will meet on-site.
The Summit also includes a two-day showcase of the latest technologies, services and solutions safeguarding the security and safety of air transport.
The IAA is expected to showcase the recently opened Ramon International Airport (ETM) near Eilat in the south of the country that is rumoured to incorporate some of the most sophisticated airport security systems yet seen. (See BTN 25 March 2019)
