AND FINALLY: Life’s a beach at Heathrow Hilton

Facilities at airport hotels have taken a new turn with the latest attraction at the Hilton London Heathrow at Terminal 4.

In the midst of a concrete jungle, a beach has been installed where guests can chill out before they start their trips.

Even those who aren’t flying are invited to join in the summer spirit by using the area, created in partnership with soft-drinks brand Franklin & Sons, for seasonal get-togethers.

Summer-themed drinks are being complemented by a menu of snack-style food ranging from tempura fried prawns to nachos with a range of accompaniments including guacamole and sour cream.
