Manchester private terminal takes shape

More details of what passengers can expect from Manchester Airport’s new private terminal, PremiAir (below), were unveiled last week by airport operator MAG. The facility, for passengers travelling with partner airlines, opens in September.

PremiAir will offer different packages to suit individual passenger needs. They include the Priority package at £50 a person for passengers on weekend breaks or travelling for business with just hand luggage.

This offers passengers the option of arriving at the airport 60min before their flights to receive a personal welcome, dedicated security channel and luxury transfer across the airfield to their aircraft.

The Premium package at £100 a person entitles passengers to relax in the lounge before flying, with free food and drink, wi-fi and newspapers and magazines while their hold luggage is processed, and then use the dedicated security channel and private transfer across the airfield.

PremiAir also offers a package for arriving passengers at £125 a person with a dedicated passport control channel, private transfer to the terminal and access to the lounge while their hold luggage is returned to them.

Other options include round-trip PremiAir packages, while groups of five-50 can use the three private suites located before security, meaning non-travelling guests can also join group events and meetings.
