A refreshed Business Class experience is on the way later this year from Cathay Pacific as part of a new programme called Let’s Move Beyond aimed at making the airline “one of the world’s greatest service brands”.
Initial details of the initiative were announced last week by CEO Rupert Hogg. He said: “Over the past seven decades, we have grown to become one of the world’s leading airlines, and our goal now is to continue to move forward.
“Move Beyond is our call to action. We choose to lead and blaze a trail of progress. It represents our continued commitment to delivering personal service that moves people emotionally and never to stand still.”
Hogg said the company was "moving beyond" for its customers by bringing personal recognition and a sense of care and reliability to the travel experience, to which end it had introduced new seat and installed wi-fi across most of the long-haul fleet.
There had also been enhanced food and beverage offerings in all classes, and Cathay’s digital platform had been upgraded to give customers more control of their journey, with the promise of more to come in the months ahead.
