BA has set a new record for the length of a safety video, at 6min. It is probably the most expensive of its ilk of all time.
British Airways is fully aware that the wellbeing of passengers and their knowledge of the emergency procedures is a neccessary legal requirement, but do we need to pretend we are not bored by the same deluge of information for that long? And yes it has to be shown before every flight!
As for the so-call personalities, forget it! Michael Caine for a couple of minutes might be OK - 85 year olds need all the help they can get when a real crisis occurs. What is needed is a short sharp message!
BTN says British Airways has lost the plot (and not for the first time). Let’s hope the big fees and production charges all go to Flying Start, the BA charity.

yet another demonstration how out of touch BAhas become with its passengers. Don\'t waste thousands on this unnecessary posing just give us a sandwich preferably free but not at inflated prices.

You did read the "directors cut" on that version of the video before you included this in BTN, didn't you?
Michael Preston, Weybridge/CPT
I find the video pointless, confusing, and nauseating. How the feeble attempts at humour must come across to non-Anglo Saxons I shudder to think.
