As predicted (BTN 22 October 2018), the latest UK member of Hilton’s Curio Collection of hotels, Lincoln Plaza London, set in a distinctive tower building at Canary Wharf in Docklands, has opened in time for the new year.
Originally scheduled to open last year, the property is 5km from London City Airport and 3min from the nearest DLR station, with central London less than half an hour away by DLR and Underground.
Boasting an ultra-modern exterior inspired by the architectural lines of London’s financial and commercial hub, the hotel follows up with an interior design based on the area’s industrial heritage with a mix of contemporary and classical materials and a focus on luxury facilities.
Lincoln Plaza London will also offer a range of food and drink outlets headed by pan-Indian restaurant Mr Todiwala’s Kitchen plus more than 465sq m of event space across seven meeting rooms.
Curio Collection’s London portfolio, which also includes the Trafalgar St James, will soon be joined by a third member in Stratford in east London – the 18-storey London Gantry, set to open in 2020 with 285 guestrooms and a sky bar with views across the Olympic Park.
