Wyndham adds three in Dubai
Three new managed properties are being opened in Dubai by Wyndham Hotels and Resorts as part of the Deira Waterfront Development being undertaken by Ithra Dubai, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Investment Corporation of Dubai (ICD).
The hotels, which will join the operator’s global portfolio of more than 9,000 properties across more than 80 countries, will operate under the Wyndham, Days by Wyndham and Super 8 by Wyndham brands.
Also known as the Deira Enrichment Project, Ithra Dubai’s development is a mixed-use area situated along the Dubai creek in the southern part of Deira. It includes communal facilities, public amenities and open spaces.
Wyndham says the addition of three new hotels to the first phase of the development will also draw domestic and international business visitors as well as leisure traffic looking for accommodation suited to a range of budgets.
The Wyndham Deira Waterfront will have 282 rooms and suites offering tailored services and amenities, with extensive meeting, fitness and leisure facilities, including a rooftop pool.
Days Hotel Deira Waterfront will be aimed at a mid-market clientele and offer 131 quality rooms and suites, an all-day dining restaurant and meeting facilities. The Super 8 Deira Waterfront is aimed at travellers on a budget and will offer 90 rooms plus restaurant and café.
