Global AirRail Awards 2018

Nominees have been announced for the Global AirRail Awards 2018, designed to highlight the need to provide stress-free customer experience for commuters, first-time airport visitors and travellers with disabilities.

The annual Global AirRail Alliance (GARA) programme was built to recognise best practices in connecting airports by rail, focusing on infrastructure integration, passenger information, communications to customers and innovation.

This year’s winners will be announced at a gala dinner and ceremony in London in 10 days’ time on 29 November during the Global AirRail Conference.

This year there are six categories:

North Star Operator of the Year – open to companies running a ground transport passenger service between an airport and a city.

AccesRail Partnership of the Year – open to operators, airlines, airports and other parties implementing an integrated air-ground transport partnership.

Project of the Year – open to a company or organisation involved in planning and delivering an airport access project.

Marketing Campaign of the Year – open to all operators, airports and airlines promoting airport access services.

Innovation of the Year – open to companies delivering a product or innovation that will improve overall airport.

Personality of the Year – open to all professionals working in aviation and ground transport passenger service industries.
