Paris 5-star property

INTERCONTINENTAL has opened its second Paris property, sited on the  Avenue Marceau.  A stone's throw away from the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs-Elysées it was until recently the Crowne Plaza Paris Champs-Elysées.  The 55-room hotel which opened in 2008 is located in three heritage buildings from different periods in Parisian history and overlooks a central courtyard. It has two penthouse suites, including a terrace suite with a private roof patio looking onto the Eiffel Tower.  The hotel also has a conservatory restaurant, Le M64, which opens on to the courtyard and offers outdoor seating in the summer months. a separate entrance as well as a 24-hour gym. It complements  the existing InterContinental Paris Le Grand, an historic building originally inaugurated by Empress Eugenie in 1862 and reopened in 2003 following a multi-million Euro restoration.
