Business Travel Journalist of the Year - Trade

BTN’s MALCOLM GINSBERG was named Business Travel Journalist of the Year – Trade at the Carlson Wagonlit sponsored BTJA awards dinner last Thursday night at London’s Corinthia Hotel honouring journalists from national, consumer, broadcast and trade media for their coverage of business travel and meetings & events.

“Recognising talent in the business travel and meetings and events media is hugely important – and as we celebrated 15 years of this amazing event, it was great to see so many submissions from new journalists,“ said Johan Wilson, CWT’s vice-president and country director UK & Ireland. “We had a record number of entrants.”

The winners were picked by the expert judging panel of business travel and meetings managers, industry experts and respected journalists.

To celebrate the 15th year of the BTJAs, a special category was introduced: “Outstanding Contribution to Business Travel and Meeting & Events Journalism.” After much consideration from the panel and extensive input from industry professionals, this prize was awarded to Mike Toynbee, once of TTG and in more recent times Buying Business Travel.
