Cobalt to rescue for fearful flyers

A seminar for people with a fear of flying, organised by the Mediterranean Air Safety Foundation (MASF) supported by Cypriot carrier Cobalt Air, will be held in Cyprus next month.

The MASF sessions reflect international statistics showing aerophobia affects more than one in five travellers to one degree or another and around 7% of people do not travel at all by air due to their fear.

The foundation estimates more than 80% of people participating in the seminars manage to eliminate or reduce their phobia significantly.

The Cyprus seminar, on 3 November, will feature presentations by special psychologists, pilots and other staff who have received special training from organisations abroad. The workshop will also feature a short flight on a Cobalt Airbus.

The total cost of participation is €80, which includes attendance at the seminar, informative material, meals, transfers to and from the airport and the flight.

For people who participated in previous seminars pay €40, and for those who want to bring another person as support, the second person will pay €40.
