The growing portfolio of easyHotel properties in the UK and worldwide reached 30 last week with the opening of the latest example in Reading.
Built and operated by Splendid Hospitality, it will be run as a franchise.
The 53-bedroom unit is described as featuring "a simple and elegant design" with all the essential comforts including air-conditioning, heating and en-suite showers to provide an ideal base for business and leisure guests seeking low-cost accommodation.
The hotel’s central location is just a short walk from key Reading destinations including the globally-renowned Reading Festival, the Oracle shopping centre, and Madjeski Stadium. Nearby Reading station provides links to London, Cardiff and Edinburgh.
EasyHotel CEO Guy Parsons said: “We’re delighted to be opening in Reading, a popular business as well as tourist destination, with our ethos of low-cost stays to enable guests to keep money in their purses and wallets to spend locally.”
Splendid Hospitality CEO Stuart Bailey said: "We’re pleased to welcome an entirely new brand and concept to our expanding portfolio of independent and branded hotels to appeal to those seeking good-value accommodation.”
