One of London Docklands’ top properties, the London Marriott Hotel West India Quay, has unveiled a new look following a full refurbishment of its 301 guestrooms and suites in partnership with design company M Studio.
Splashes of turquoise to reflect the waterways surrounding the property were the inspiration for the redesign, which incorporates the latest in-room technology and interiors tailored for both business and leisure travellers.
All rooms feature natural light from floor-to-ceiling windows with many boasting views over West India Quay while the Curve Suites showcase the sights across the Canary Wharf skyline.
The hotel, convenient for London City Airport, also has flat-screen TVs and plush mattresses in the rooms while suites come equipped with Nespresso coffee machines. All have high-speed wi-fi and multiple USB ports.
General manager Bertrand Dijoux said: “The makeover has been inspired by our guests from start to finish, with integrated high-quality and easy to use technological features and amenities set off by a sleek and understated design.”
Other features include a fitness centre and sauna, along with 19 event and meeting rooms equipped with high-speed internet and modern audio-visual facilities and able to accommodate up to 290 people.
