Delegates from some of the world’s top business and leisure accommodation providers will gather in London on 8 November for the latest Boutique Hotel Awards at the Merchant Taylor's Hall.
The event is claimed to be the first and only international awards organisation dedicated exclusively to recognising excellence in the sector, with each nominee evaluated personally by a member of the judging team.
Awards managing director Bianca Revens said: “The judges are out to ensure our winners are capable of transporting their guests into a novel world through the history and culture of their locations and the properties’ own stylistic flair.”
Categories include world’s best boutique hotel, most eco-friendly and best classic, romantic and fine dining properties.
The 11-strong judging panel led by Revens includes Hotel Property Team managing partner Dev Anand, My Private Villas CEO and founder Paolo Macchiaroli, JDB Fine Hotels and Resorts chairman Brian Froelich and Fusion Interiors Group founder Hilary Lancaster.
Previous winners include Akademie Street, Franschhoek, South Africa, named the World’s Best Boutique Hotel; the Serras Hotel in Barcelona, which triumphed in the Best City Hotel category, and Kensho Boutique Hotel and Suites, Mykonos, voted Best New Hotel.
