Spotlight on air charter

Billed by organisers as “an opportunity to make business travel easy”, this year’s Air Charter Expo, ACE 2018, takes place at Biggin Hill Airport on 11 September, with the aim of showcasing the best in corporate and business aviation.

Some two dozen aircraft and helicopters are expected on the static display and 60 exhibitors from general aviation at the accompanying exhibition to give visitors an insight into all aspects of the sector.

Organiser Mark Ranger said: “ACE 2018 will allow visitors to find out exactly what business aviation is all about. The aircraft on show range from the smallest to the largest and visitors will be able to explore them and their facilities at their leisure.”

The show will also offer training sessions and presentations on key developments in the industry with visitors able to learn more about new opportunities and ways of accessing the corporate jet market, often at prices lower than the usual perception.

“One of the key factors for business travellers is the efficiency and time saving of chartering a private aircraft,” Ranger added. “For executives travelling as a group, the efficiencies and time savings are compounded.”

Entry to ACE 18 is free for visitors registered in advance.
