Business travellers are being given a boost by Eurostar with what the train company calls “a selection of new ways to make the journey even more memorable” for meeting, incentive, conference and exhibition (MICE) passengers.
Organisers booking exclusive coaches can now treat their guests to themed on-board experiences, hosted by expert speakers and tailored to “enlighten and entertain” delegates as they travel across the Channel.
Eurostar says the programme, available for bookings from September, provides “the ideal way to leave a lasting impression with travellers from the moment they arrive on board”.
Themes are in keeping with Eurostar destinations, ranging from food and drink to arts and culture. One example is the Great Taste package, including hampers provided by the Guild of Fine Food, and talks on the provenance of the products.
Delegates can test their tasting palates by awarding tasting notes and star ratings to be compared to those awarded by the judges, who include Nigel Barden, Patrick McGuigan and Martha Collison.
Eurostar business development manager Inge Bauwens said: "The idea is to offer those travelling in a group a new way to make the most out of their time on board."
