New meeting and events facilities have been unveiled at the Radisson Blu Nantes hotel in western France following a €400,000 upgrade in response to what the property says is increasing demand from business travellers.
The hotel, in the heart of the city, has added an additional 200sq m meeting and event space, increasing its offering to a total of nine rooms, and creating a total meeting space of almost 1,000sq m.
The flexible new space comprises two new rooms, Dubigeon and Anne de Bretagne. The second of these can be further divided into two, while Dubigeon is a modern boardroom of 50sq m with space for up to 19 guests.
The Anne de Bretagne totals 150sq m and has the flexibility to work as two individual rooms, or one larger space hosting up to 180 people for a cocktail event.
The work is part of a wider investment project which will also see a new restaurant unveiled at the hotel this year, capitalising on the architecture and history of the venue, one of Nantes’ most famous buildings.
General manager Virginie Thevenet said the developments further strengthened the hotel’s position as the leading meetings and events venue in the city in the face of “very strong demand”.
