Vend˘me Paris returns

On the heels of the brand’s annual “Global Day of Discovery”, Renaissance Hotels last week officially unveiled the Renaissance Paris Vendôme Hotel following a multi-million-dollar transformation of its guest rooms and public spaces.

Reimagined by Didier Gomez Interior Design, the 97-room property is being showcased as an example of the brand’s momentum to evolve and grow its global portfolio of hotels, with openings planned this year in the US, Holland, Indonesia and Taiwan.

Marriott International vice-president premium and select brands Europe John Licence said: “The opening reaffirms our commitment to strengthening our portfolio in destinations where guests are seeking unscripted travel experiences.

“Each Renaissance hotel is an open invitation to discover the local neighbourhood, employing different design principles to introduce a sense of theatricality and the local scene to our guests.”

Features at the Vendôme and other Renaissance properties include keyless room entry through the Marriot Mobile App, a fitness centre and pool, plus a signature spa.

A newly-created venue called L’Atelier offers a blank space for clients to create tailored events, from co-working hub to showroom, and private dinners to pop-up exhibitions.
