Delta Hotels moves in

Another multinational hotel group division has opened for business in Europe with the arrival of Delta, part of Marriott International, marking its official debut with a property in Frankfurt.

Marriott says the opening of Delta Hotels Frankfurt Offenbach is a significant landmark in the global rollout of the Delta portfolio, which it described as one of the company’s fastest-growing brands.

Regional vice-president for premium brands John Licence said the property was aimed at travellers seeking “a simple but full-service premium hospitality experience”.

“Simply put, with Delta we strip out the superfluous and concentrate on getting the essentials right,” he added.

Set by the River Main between Frankfurt city centre and Offenbach, the 223-room hotel is within easy reach of the city’s main attractions and a short walk from the European Central Bank.

For the business and meetings market, the hotel offers 590sq m of modern event space including nine multi-function rooms, along with a 24hr business centre and on-site parking facilities.

The Delta Hotels portfolio now encompasses more than 50 properties plus a pipeline of more than 30 signed projects in North America, Europe, and Asia. The company also recently added its first Chinese property in Shanghai and plans to open in Turkey this year.
