Flybe winter extension

An improved weekend schedule on key routes from Exeter, with later Sunday returns from Amsterdam, Jersey, Guernsey and Manchester, is a feature of a winter 2018-19 schedule extended to 30 March next year and released by Flybe last week.

The return of weekend flights to Norwich is also part of the line-up, which now covers 125 routes throughout the UK and mainland Europe. Doncaster Sheffield – Belfast City will operate for the first time in winter.

The schedule will also see the return of Christmas and New Year flights between Southampton and regional France destinations Limoges, Bordeaux, La Rochelle, Nantes and Rennes, and a full winter service to Bergerac.

A Christmas and New Year service between Birmingham and Newquay is also back, alongside extra frequency on many routes including Exeter to Glasgow, Belfast City, Dublin and Newcastle.

Flybe will operate 14 winter ski routes, including Chambery from Birmingham, Cardiff, Exeter, Manchester and Southampton; Geneva from Birmingham, Cardiff, Exeter, Isle of Man, Jersey and Southampton; Innsbruck from Manchester, and Lyon from Birmingham and Manchester.

The schedules of Flybe franchise partners Blue Islands, Eastern Airways and Stobart Air Winter are also extended through to the end of March 2019.
